ARCHBISHOP AMAGA ARRIVES FOR SALEM UNIVERSITY 7TH CONVOCATION

Chancellor of Salem University, Lokoja, Archbishop Dr. Sam AMAGA has arrived for the 7th convocation of the Institution.
He was welcomed by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Alewo Johnson Akubo and College Deans.
The Chancellor who is also the founder, was given a tumultuous welcome at about 2.39 pm on Wednesday.
The students trooped out in their numbers to honour the respected patriarch of the university, as he was also treated to mini cultural dances.
The students who were simply beside themselves in excitement spiced the occasion with songs and dances.
The Chancellor, was shortly conducted round some classes and laboratories by the Vice Chancellor and the university management.
Archbishop Amaga is expected to attend the convocation lecture on Thursday, which is a prelude to the main event, on Friday, 21 November.
The lecture will be delivered by renown pharmacist, Professor John Alfa of Bingham University.
