SALEM UNIVERSITY 2025/2026 STUDENTS MATRICULATE
The 2025/2926 students of Salem University, Lokoja are poised to matriculate.
The event will take place on Friday, 6th February, 2026.
A statement from the office of the registrar, Dr. Adejoh Emmanuel said that the ceremony will take place at 10 am.
Some of the courses for which the students are matriculating are Law, Basic Medical and Allied Sciences, Medicine and Health Sciences, Information and Communication Technology, Education, among others.
The matriculation will be presided over by the Vice Chancellor, Professor ALEWO Johnson AKUBO.
Professor Johnson’s tenure was recently extended by five years, after its expiration, early this year.
His tenure witnessed phenomenal growth in academic and infrastructure, promoting the university council to renew his tenure.
During his first tenure, new courses, especially in medical sciences, were introduced and accredited.
Post graduate degrees were also approved for Mass Communication, Law Biochemistry courses, among others.
