END OF AN ERA, AS LATE DR. EGENE ADAH WAS LAID TO REST, IN ANKPA
Late sage and philanthropist, Dr. Moses Eugene Adah has been laid to rest in an elaborate ceremony in Ankpa.
Late Egene Adah passed on a few weeks ago in a hospital in Abuja after an illness.
It was largely a celebration of life, as those whose life he affected, including relations, sons, grand children, great grand children poured out in their numbers to pay their last respects.
Late Adah was a foremost technocrat and an accomplished politician in Igala land and Nigeria.
He lived a life that affected his contemporaries and generation after.
The astute politician, who was a commissioner in the Old Kwara State and old Benue poured out his life for others, in selfless service to humanity.
Dr.Adah was a member of the House of Representatives in 1983 and served as Commissioner for Works and Housing during the Murtala Mohammed regime in Kwara and Benue States.
A renown foremost physicist, Dr. Adah was one of the conscientious state builders, who made uncommon sacrifices for building of his community and Nigeria as a whole.
One of his children and a popular pastor in Nigeria and USA, Pastor Arome Adah, in his funeral speech urged the living to emulate the virtues he lived for, while promoting the legacies he left behind.
Pastor Arome who is the General Overseer of Savannah Grace Church, stressed that the virtue he lived for would not be allowed to perish.
He described his father as a man who impacted lives and brought out the best in others, asking those in authority to emulate the selfless service of the late sage.
The burial ceremony attracted dignitaries from within and outside Nigeria, including diplomats, politicians, and well-meaning Nigerians.
