KOGI ADC’S LG ELECTION CANDIDATES OBTAIN FORMS
The Candidates of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the Kogi State have obtained forms for the forty-coming Local Government Election in the State.
The forms were presented to the successful candidates at the party’s state office in Lokoja, the state capital, by the State Chairman Hon. Sunday Maiyaki and Secretary Hon. Mamman Akpena.
Speaking at the presentations ceremony, they extolled the virtues of the leader of the party, RIght Honourable Leke Abejide for purchasing the forms for all the successful candidates of the party at the primary elections.
The chairman further disclosed that the gesture was extended to all councillorship candidates of the party.
He observed that since most of the candidates emerged in their various communities, without any protest or petition, it showed that the party’s primaries followed the due process.
On the occasion, party leaders were charged to go back to their local government areas to begin the sensitisation of members towards the election.
Responding on behalf of the successful candidates, Hon Oladimeji Obaro from Mopa Muro assured the party of their readiness to deliver the manifesto of the party to the grassroots.
He said with the activities of the party in the state through its National leader, Hon Leke Abejide, the campaign would be a smooth process in all the 21 local government areas, in the state.
