ADC CHIEFTAIN, HON. ASALU ASSURES COMMITMENT TO PARTY IDEALS
African Democratic Congress (ADC), chieftain in Kogi West, chief Kehinde Asalu has reassured the national leader of the party, Elder Leke Abejide of unalloyed support by the people of the senatorial District .
He made the assertion at his country home Odo Ore, on Wednesday when the state chairman and secretary paid him courtesy call.
The party chieftain noted that recently, some people that have lost political relevance in the state gathered in Kabba, where they claimed they were into coalition and our party was the one they wanted to use to create the confusion.
“We have reiterated our stand, that we are not part of the coalition of confused politicians masquerading as leaders in the state,” he pointed out.
He admonished members of the public to be wary of those in the coalition, adding that they are pretenders, whose real intentions are not good for the country.
Chief Asalu insisted that the party in the state has done great things for the people of his senatorial district, through social interventions and physical development, particularly in the federal constituency of the National leader of the party in the state.
According to him, “we can’t be deceived twice in our lifetime. What we have endured in the last decade in the hands of this type of people was enough to teach us lessons,” he maintained .
“It won’t happen here because we would do everything within the law to resist their negative intentions,” he remarked.
Speaking on the occasion, the state secretary, Hon. Mamman Akpena, eulogies the elder statesman for his commitment to the stability of the party in the state

Hon Akpena thanked other stakeholders who have remained with the ADC, even in its time of trial, stressing, “our national leader, the Elder Leke Abejide’s developmental programme was enough to draw people of good will into the party.”
