SUPER EAGLES CAPTAIN NDIDI PLEDGES TO PAY HIS COLLEAGUES’ BONUSES, IF NFF FAILS
Super Eagles captain, Wilfred Ndidi, has urged his teammates to continue training and focus on their upcoming quarter-final clash against Algeria in the 2025 AFCON, despite the ongoing delay in bonus payments.
Ndidi addressed the team in Marrakesh on Thursday, saying:
“I don’t want this unpaid bonuses to affect our preparations. I told players and coaching staff that I’d personally make the payments if they don’t get it.”
He added:
“I’ve been pushing the team to train and play the game vs Algeria since the second game.
I’ve now made a commitment to the staff and players that I’ll personally pay the bonuses if the authorities fail to before Saturday.”
