ADC: OMOSHAGBA JOINS KOGI GUBER RACE
Industrialist and prominent Okun son, Dr Lamidi Omoshagba, has joined the race for Kogi State Government House, under the banner of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for 2027.
He disclosed this in an interactive session with the leadership of the party in its lokoja office.
Dr. Omoshagba, who was accompanied by the zonal woman leader, and the zonal chairman of the party expressed delight with the party’s leadership and the manifesto of the party, which he said ‘resonates’ with him.
“I am here to familiarise myself with the party leaders and the stakeholders because of the big dreams we have for the state,” he said.
He pointed out, “Our mission was simply to help recreate institutional growth and not personal growth. If institutional growth is given prominence in any administration, very little efforts will be required to make a success of governance.”
“Our society needs is a simple push for the good of all and gathering of people of like-mind, so rhat the state would be on the right track,” he further said.
He maintained, “as an industrialist, I know what it takes to administer the people, and with my experience on the field, if given the chance, our state would be better for it.”
“Our aspiration is people-centred. We shall assemble the best hands and minds to propelled the state to join the comity of progressive states, both in terms of infrastructure and human resources management,” he asserted.
Speaking on the occasion, the state chairman of the party, Hon Maiyaki Sunday assured the aspirant that the party was open to all that were ready to implement its manifesto, which he pointed out, are people-oriented.
